The fast-paced action thriller Bhaiyya Ji movie stars Manoj Bajpayee as a desi Robin Hood-like figure. Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki and co-written with Deepak Kingrani, the film stars the versatile Manoj Bajpayee in the titular role, marking their second collaboration after the critically acclaimed legal drama Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai (2023). In an interview with a news source, director Apoorv Singh Karki explained why he thinks the film will resonate with audiences. He stated, “Manoj sir initially envisioned ‘Bhaiyya Ji’ as an art film, but I pushed for a larger-than-life approach. Collaborating with writer Deepak Kingrani, we developed the story, and Manoj sir loved it. That’s how ‘Bhaiyya Ji’ came to be. I was tired of seeing other actors in slow motion, and as a fan of Manoj Bajpayee, I told him it was his turn. I believe audiences are eager to see him as an action hero. ‘Bhaiyya Ji’ is his 100th film, yet he’s never portrayed a character like this before. It’s a deeply rooted film, and I’m confident the audience will love it.”

In response, another character begins to narrate, this character as the mastermind who can topple governments and install the opposition in power. He has killed many wrongdoers. There was a time when just hearing his name would make criminals choose the righteous path. Back then, he embodied people, crime, and the law. When the politician asks, Is he a Robin Hood? The narrator replies He is the father of Robin Hood.
Plot
The film follows the gripping journey of Ram Charan Tripathi, also known as Bhaiyaa Ji. Once a feared and retired criminal, Bhaiyaa Ji is forced back into the world he left behind after the tragic death of his younger brother during a minor altercation. Determined to seek justice, Bhaiyya Ji confronts the powerful and influential Gujjar responsible for his brother’s demise. Rallying his loyal associates, he teams up with people for retribution that threatens to upend the entire criminal underworld.
